10G SFP+ CWDM optic transceiver is a coarse wavelength division multiplexing optical transceiver, usually used with single-mode optical fiber. This kind of optical transceiver saves fiber resources by adopting CWDM technology, which can obviously improve the flexibility, economy and reliability of networking, and the power consumption of this kind of optical transceiver is very small, which is 12.5% of 10G SFP+ DWDM optic transceiver.
10G SFP series optical transceiver modules are widely used in Gigabit Ethernet and are compatible with 1.25G Fibre Channel and Synchronous Optical Networks (SONET OC-24 / SDH STM-8). The transmission distance can reach up to 550m to 120km. 10Gbps optical modules are used together with OM3 multi-mode optic patch cable and Ethernet Switch with SFP ports.

10G Connectivity for Data Center
The diversity of data center interconnection scenarios has created the need for different types of optical modules. Traditional data centers generally use 1G/10G low-speed SFP modules, while cloud data centers mainly use 40G/100G high-speed optical modules.
The growth demand of SFP optical modules mainly depends on the data communication market and the telecommunications market. In today's data era, optical modules are bound to attract new development opportunities. The arrival of the 5G era has brought a new round of growth to the optical module industry.
The volume of SFP and SFP+ optical modules is basically the same, and the main difference is the transmission rate. The maximum transmission rate of SFP optical modules is 2.5Gb/s, while that of SFP+ optical modules is 10Gb/s. Due to the different transmission rates, their applications and transmission distances will vary.
Yes. 10G SFP+ optical modules can work when inserted in SFP ports, but the transmission rate is only 1Gbps; however, SFP optical modules cannot be used in SFP+ ports.
Depending on the type of fiber used, the transmission distance is also different. The transmission distance is 300 meters when used with OM1 multi-mode fiber, and the longest distance, when used with OS2 single-mode fiber, is currently 120 kilometers.
Can't. The SFP+/QSFP high-speed cable can be directly inserted into the SFP+/QSFP port of the switch to connect the switches at both ends without using optical modules.
Auto configuration is not supported between 10GE and 1GE rates.
Wonderful cables.
I have received the order, and your shipping time is out of expected. And the FTTH drop cable are functioning just as expected. we have always been satisfied with our equipment from you.
