The 10G SFP+ optical transceiver is a small pluggable optical module with a current maximum rate of 10.3G, usually connected with an LC jumper. It is can be divided into rate classification, wavelength classification, and mode classification. Each optical module has undergone strict compatibility testing to ensure product reliability, stability, and full compatibility with various brands switches and other equipment.
10GBASE-BX SFP+ compatible SFP+ transceiver supports up to 10km link lengths over OS2 SMF via an LC simplex connector. Digital diagnostics can also be used through the I2C interface designated by SFF-8472 to allow access to real-time operating parameters. Each BIDI SFP+ transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of Cisco switches, routers, servers, network interface cards (NICs) etc. Featuring low power consumption and high speed, this 10G BIDI SFP+ transceiver is ideal for enterprise wiring closets, service provider transport applications, Radio & Baseband Units, etc.
Network Connectivity
The working wavelength of 10G SFP+ LR optical module is 1270nm, and it adopts LC duplex connector. When used with single-mode dual-fiber optical fiber patch cord, the transmission distance can reach 10KM.

Product Highlights
SFP data transfer rates can be between 10 Mbps and 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps). For stronger data transfer and faster Gigabit Ethernet, SFP+ transceivers can deliver up to 10 Gbps, and for optimal speeds, QSFP/QSFP+ can reach up to 40 Gbps.
SFP transceivers come in different specifications, allowing users to customize their network equipment to meet their specific needs. Since SFPs are hot-swappable, they also allow users to easily modify or upgrade network infrastructure.
The volume of SFP and SFP+ optical modules is basically the same, and the main difference is the transmission rate. The maximum transmission rate of SFP optical modules is 2.5Gb/s, while that of SFP+ optical modules is 10Gb/s. Due to the different transmission rates, their applications and transmission distances will vary.
Yes.10G SFP+ optical modules can work when inserted in SFP ports, but the transmission rate is only 1Gbps; however, SFP optical modules cannot be used in SFP+ ports.
Depending on the type of fiber used, the transmission distance is also different. The transmission distance is 300 meters when used with OM1 multi-mode fiber, and the longest distance, when used with OS2 single-mode fiber, is currently 120 kilometers.
Can't. The SFP+/QSFP high-speed cable can be directly inserted into the SFP+/QSFP port of the switch to connect the switches at both ends without using optical modules.
Auto configuration is not supported between 10GE and 1GE rates.
Very good service and quality.
The fiber cable was very easy to pull both indoor & outdoor. It's not stiff, went thru conduits nicely.
