All-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) cable is a type of optical fiber cable that is strong enough to support itself between structures without using conductive metal elements. ADSS fiber cable is used by electrical utility companies as a communications medium, installed along existing overhead transmission lines and often sharing the same support structures as the electrical conductors.
ADSS Fiber Optic Cable can be 5 loose tubes or 6 loosue tubes. The fiber optic loose tube is twisted on the central reinforcing member (usually FRP) for SZ type and then extruded into the inner sheath (it can be omitted in the case of small tension and small span), and then wrapped according to the required tensile strength of Aramid yarn, and then extruded into PE or AT sheath. The optical fiber of ADSS cable is filled with ointment. The layer-stranded structure of ADSS fiber cable is easy to obtain a safe fiber excess length, although the diameter and weight are relatively large, which is more advantageous in medium and large span applications.

UnitekFiber can supply ADSS fiber optic cable with 100-800 meter pole span.
Dielectric means it has non-conducting properties of a non-metallic, insulating material that resists the passage of electric current.
ADSS cables should be placed in Aerial and duct, but can not be direct-buried.
I am extremely impressed with your products, fiber optic cable. My father would have loved buying these products from your company.
